• Fandom: Harry Potter
• Reason for Being Hated: Shrill, nagging, obnoxious, bullies her husband and sons, favors Harry over Ron, treats Hermione and Fleur badly, too lazy to get a job and support her family, acts like Harry’s mother when she isn’t, pushed her daughter at Harry so they could get their hands on his money, murder of Bellatrix was a total ass-pull since Molly is just a housewife who shouldn’t have been able to perform a spell like that.

But to poke some holes:

She only “treated Fleur badly” because she feared she was using her potential powers as the descendant of Veela, who can entrance men against their better judgement and will. And she treated her BETTER after she learned she was wrong.

I do not remember her pushing Ginny to Harry for his money and I do not remember her treating Hermione as she did Fleur.

She does not favor Harry over Ron, she treats him as her own son because his family is horrid.

And I don’t care if anyone thinks it was an “ass-pull” for her to kill Bellatrix, magic is shown to be tied to emotion in the series and she was VERY emotional at that moment. AND SHE’S A MEMBER OF THE DAMN ORDER OF THE PHOENIX.

I love Molly and I don’t care.

A great scene of an angry mother protecting her child…is considered an “asspull?”

Adding on to that, she just recently lost some sons. Heaven forbid she lose her only daughter as well!
